JAY QUADE completed his graduate studies at the universities of Arizona and Utah and joined the faculty at Arizona in 1992, where he is currently a full professor. His interests are in low-temperature geochemistry and paleoenvironmental reconstruction. He has worked worldwide documenting the evolution of climate and landscapes over the past 60 million years, including the context of early hominids in Africa.
