The College of Humanities and Humanities Seminars Program Announce

Great Books Series for Arizona Educators

Made possible by the Fearless Inquiries Project

Are you an Arizona educator seeking innovative ways to teach classic and innovative texts in your classroom? Take advantage of this free, high-quality continuing education experience led by top university professors. Enroll today to reserve your place via the form below, as space in the series is limited.

This series gives teachers access to free courses in hopes of providing you with new insights into classic literary, historical, scientific, and philosophical texts that you can, in turn, make deeply meaningful to your students. Through the College of Humanities renowned Humanities Seminars Program (HSP)—including its dozens of award-winning university instructors— we are offering free courses for Arizona teachers. Most of these courses will be offered as live courses available on campus, online, or via recording to maximize their accessibility throughout the state. Our goal is to support teachers who are seeking new ideas, understandings, and approaches for teaching in their classrooms. Whenever possible, we will work with participating teachers to ensure that you receive any needed formal continuing education credit or professional development certifications.

HSP courses available to teachers through this Great Books initiative during the 2022-2023 academic year:
