Victor R. Baker is Regents Professor of Planetary Sciences, Geosciences, and Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences. An American Geophysical Union Fellow and former President of The Geological Society of America, his publications include 20 books and more than 450 research articles and chapters dealing with the geology and paleo-hydrology of Mars, flood and mega-flood paleo-hydrology, geomorphology, and the history and philosophy of the Earth and planetary sciences. He has appeared in numerous television documentaries dealing with Mars and mega-flooding.
