THEODORE BUCHHOLZ is the cello professor at the University of Arizona. Described by critics as a “virtuosic cellist” with a “beautiful, warm sound”, Buchholz has recorded for Centaur, Toccata, and Lorelt Records. He is an artist at the Killington Music Festival and Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival. A fervent believer in the power of music education to transform lives, he is the Director of the UA String Project. He is a recipient of a 2019 Ted and Shirley Taubeneck Superior Teaching Award.
