DANIEL SOH is Associate Professor of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona’s Wyant College of Optical Sciences. He holds doctorates from the University of Southampton and Stanford University in fiber lasers and quantum dynamic systems. After fourteen years at Sandia National Laboratories and R&D leadership in Silicon Valley, he now researches quantum information processing, sensing, and computation. Holder of sixteen U.S. patents, he enjoys making quantum science accessible to a non-specialist audience.
